Partnering of Indian and Taiwan institutions to build cooperation and foster academic and research activities
To build cooperation in academic and research activities National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal entered into Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with universities of Taiwan.
The MoU was signed with some of the universities including the National Chung Chen University, National Chin-Yi University of Technology, National Formosa University Taiwan and Asia University Taiwan. Interestingly, after the joint decision of working together, the NIT Warangal is one such institution to have collaboration with Taiwan universities.
The exchange programme for faculty members and students
Well, the collaboration isn’t just signing of official documents but it majorly aims at mutual exchange of the institution’s faculty members, postgraduate and undergraduate students. This exchange program will enhance the quality as well as the quantity of research and will also help in building academia-industry cooperation.
The whole visit of the high-level Indo-Taiwanese delegation of directors and vice-chancellors from Indian universities was organised by Association of Indian Universities (AIU) in collaboration with Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre in India.
It sounded to be a platform where many of the top academic administrators met each other and took the signing of the document as a step towards the high academic research.
