MITRA is instituted in Mumbai and can serve as a first step for career-oriented individuals in understanding the world of green energy solutions
Magenta Power, a pioneer in renewable energy and electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure space, has launched its academy ‘MITRA’ – Magenta Innovation Technology and Research Academy, to support organisations as well as individuals in their transition to a sustainable energy future.
The academy also acts as the primary platform, a centre of excellence (CoE), and a source of technology, knowledge and resource on green and renewable energy.
MITRA is instituted in Mumbai and can serve as a first step for career-oriented individuals in understanding the world of green energy solutions.
The academy offers a free certificate course that has a formal training syllabus, having over six training modules that an individual has to choose at the time of registration. The course acts as a great beginning for those who are new to the field, or looking to make a career change, or those who only want to learn more about the green energy and required solutions.
Education and awareness
Commenting on the launch, Maxson Lewis, Director, Magenta Power, said, “MITRA by Magenta, shall be zero profit module wherein only the training cost would be incurred without earmarking any profits. We are committed to developing clean and green technology specific to the Indian concerns.”
“We believe many times the conviction to move to clean solutions comes from education and awareness and that is what MITRA aims to achieve. The academy of MITRA is a manifestation of our zeal that amplifies our belief that green energy is everybody’s business,” Lewis added.
The training will provide the participants with practical tools to accelerate deployment of green energy, that will facilitate knowledge sharing and transfer of technology to give clean and sustainable energy for growing population of the world.
Allied to this, there is also a structured approach imparting basics of solar power, EVs and informatics.
