Building Future Workforce in Big Data
Though big data revolution offers exciting prospects, IT professionals have only been able to scratch the surface when it comes to embarking upon a successful career in this trending technology, noted Edureka in its press release.
Big data engineer ranks among the top trending jobs on LinkedIn and the average salary of a big data engineer is $90,885 per year. Moreover, 2019 has been touted as the year of big data, but businesses need trained professionals in this technology to unleash its infinite possibilities towards better decision making. Further, it pointed out that organizations and individuals not embracing the change will lose their competitive edge and even risk extinction. Global big data market is expected to grow to 103 billion U.S. dollars by 2027.
Speaking about the partnership, Prof. Animesh Biswas, Director, National Institute of Technology Rourkela, said, “If data is the oil of the 21st century, big data is the aviation fuel. I am proud to say that with NIT Rourkela and Edureka joining hands, we will be able to fulfil the never-ending demand for big data engineers in the industry.”
This partnership will enable NIT Rourkela to share its expertise and research with the whole world through Edureka’s live, online training platform, Prof. Biswas added.
