According to a report by the Hindu Businessline, education technology company Clone Futura has tied up with Indian Institute of technology (IIT) alumni to conduct boot camp courses on artificial intelligence (AI) and data analytics among school children.
The company has registered 1,300 students from 16 schools in Mumbai for boot camp courses so far. The course will make students go through various aspects of data analytics and artificial intelligence like Python,building calculator and weather forecasting application.
500 schools next year
The best projects developed at the boot camps will be showcased at the IIT Techfest. The company charges Rs 12,750 per student for the 16 hours of the course which lasts for two-three weekends.The report says that the courses will soon go pan -India as many scools have shown interest in the course. The company aims to reach at least 500 schools next year.
