Business Analytics has become a preferred trend in academia with several leading institutes opting for the same to enhance efficiency of students and working professionals.
Recently, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between BSE Institute Limited and IIT Madras for offering joint program in Business Analytics.
Ambarish Datta, MD and CEO at BSE Institute, said: “The use of business analytics has grown exponentially in all areas, including financial services, healthcare, government, retail, e-commerce, media, manufacturing and the service industry. This has led to an increase in the demand for employees with an analytical approach to management who can utilize data, understand statistical and quantitative models, and are able to make better data-driven business decisions. We also expect successful learners to gravitate toward start-up organizations.”
What will it offer?
This program aims to provide quality education through collaborative programs, leading to opportunities of joint research and exposure to industry. The program will also enable working professionals with deeper understanding of the prominent technologies used in analytics like data mining, machine learning, visualisation techniques and statistics.
The program has been designed in a way that would not lead to any disruption in their working or personal schedules and would continue for one year (part-time) focusing on the overview of the field of analytics enabling the candidates take informed business decisions.
