- The academy will give training in AI, IoT, data science, robotics
- AICTE will set up 200 training programmes through Atal academies this year
According to a report by the Times of India, All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) chairman Professor Anil D Sahasrabudhe has informed that AICTE will set up a training and learning academy in Andhra Pradesh focused on artificial intelligence (AI), internet of thing (IoT), robotics, data sciences, virtual reality and augmented reality.
AICTE has set up these learning centers (Atal) in Jaipur (Rajasthan), Baroda (Gujarat), Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) and Guwahati (Assam). Professor Anil D Sahasrabudhe also informed that if the state government provides AICTE with a building, it will start with the academy right away. If the government provides AICTE with a plot, then AICTE will construct a building added Sahasrabudhe. He also added that AICTE will set up 200 training programmes through Atal academies this year and increase it to 500 next year.
